Why can’t I log in to my KonX account?
- Make sure you’re using the correct email and password.
- Check that your internet connection is stable.
- If you forgot your password, click “Forgot Password” to reset it.
- Clear your browser cache or try a different supported browser (Chrome, Firefox, Edge, Safari).
How do I activate my license?
- After logging in, go to Products → choose a subscription or eCard.
- Give your meeting room a name, then click Create to activate the license.
- If activation fails, confirm your account has permissions and your subscription is valid.
Can I host and join a meeting at the same time?
Yes — you can start a session (as the host) and also join as a participant. Just enable your mic/camera and enter your name when prompted.
Why is my camera or microphone not working in a session?
- Your browser might be blocking permission — look for a camera/mic icon in the URL bar and set permission to “Allow.”
- Another application may already be using the camera; close it.
- Your browser may not support certain APIs — try switching to another supported browser.
- Refresh the page, clear cache, or restart the browser and rejoin.
How do I invite guests to a meeting?
- Click Host (or “Invite Guests”) inside your meeting interface.
- Enter the guest’s email, or copy the meeting link from the address bar and share it manually.
- Guests will receive an email with the join link.
What’s the difference between “Quick Start” and “Scheduling a Session”?
- Quick Start launches a meeting immediately with no need to set date/time.
- Scheduling lets you plan ahead — set room name, date, time, duration; guests will receive invites.
- Note: The scheduled meeting link expires after the specified time.
Can I share a file during a session?
Yes — use the Share File button in the chat area to upload documents, images, etc. Participants can then download or view them.
How do I share my screen?
- Click the Share Screen button in your meeting window.
- Choose whether to share a browser tab, an application window, or your entire screen.
- Click Share (or “Allow”) to start.
- To stop sharing, click the screen share icon again.
What roles are available, and how do I change them?
- Moderator: can remove users, mute/unmute others, stop video, manage screen sharing.
- Presenter: ensures their video is visible to all participants.
- To change roles: open the Participants list → click the three-dot menu beside a name → Change Role.
Can I record my meeting?
Yes — hosts can start local recording via the host menu.
- A red dot indicates recording is active.
- Participants may have to grant permission to be recorded; if denied, their video/audio won’t be captured.
- Once the session ends or recording is stopped, the file is downloaded to your device.
I locked the room. How do I let participants in now?
- Locked participants will wait in the lobby until admitted.
- As moderator or host, go to the lobby list and Admit them individually or Admit All.
Why is the time in my dashboard different from the invite link’s time?
- Your dashboard reflects your local timezone.
- However, scheduled session invites may show times in PDT (Pacific Daylight Time) — double-check and convert if necessary.
- Once the session ends or recording is stopped, the file is downloaded to your device.
What happens when I leave a session?
- Click Leave in the meeting window to exit.
- If recording is active, make sure to stop it before leaving to properly save the file.
The session link is expired — what can I do?
- Once the scheduled session’s time frame ends, the link becomes inactive for new guests.
- You can still continue the session, but new participants cannot join.
- For future sessions, ensure your invitees join before the expiration.
